Horus Den : He is Semty in the
list of Abydos
or king of the south and the north, Khasty. He reigned from 3030 to 2985 B.C... He undertook numerous military campaigns. His tomb in
Abydos is one
of the biggest. It was burnt, restored then in
the 26th dynasty. (tphotos

of Tatiana). About ten labels, of which the one found in Abydos
and exposed to the British Museum represent the ceremony of
the Sed festival that comprises, from
this time all phases that will last in
the following centuries: shopping of the
king, construction of a
special pavilion on the top of a platform,
characteristic of the Sed festival. The king is covered there once with the crown of Upper Egypt and another time
with the crown of Lower Egypt.
