Den and after

Horus Den : He is Semty in the list of Abydos or king of the south and the north, Khasty. He reigned from 3030 to 2985 B.C... He undertook numerous military  campaigns. His tomb in Abydos is one of the biggest. It was burnt, restored then in the 26th dynasty.  (tphotos in the blog of Tatiana). About ten labels, of which the one found in Abydos and exposed to the British Museum represent the ceremony of the Sed festival that comprises, from this time all phases that will last in the following centuries: shopping of the king, construction of a special pavilion on the top of a platform,  characteristic of the Sed festival. The king is covered there once with the crown of Upper Egypt and another time with the crown of Lower Egypt.

Horus Adjib : It is the king of the South and the North Merhape. His reign must not exceed a dozen of years.  His tomb in Abydos is small and poor. One recovered the vases on which his name has been scraped clumsily probably by his successor.

Horus Semerkhet : His name of the two goddesses is "Iry-Neter ", god's friend. One allocates him one reign of 18 years. His tomb in Abydos comprised a stele in schist on which his name is registered in a serekh.

Horus Qaa  : He is named Qebeh in the royal lists of the New Kingdom. It is the last king of the first dynasty. His tomb in Abydos is big and constructed well. One found two steles there with  his name of Horus. His reign would have been of 33 years about. He would have celebrated one or maybe two Sed festival.

The 1st dynasty ends with him: it would have lasted about two centuries and half. The new dynasty that arrives to the power toward 2930 B.C.. would be from thinite source, as the previous. No link of relationship is mentioned.
